But one has to have a day job while pursuing ones passion. Over the next several years I began to develop my teaching talents while teaching high school theatre across the great state of Utah. And one has to have a second job to make money when not teaching. So, I trained and tested to be an optician. I’m American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certified. Still haven’t waited tables….unless you count that dinner theatre in Alaska….
After living and working in Utah, New York, Alaska, Chicago, and now Arkansas, I’m excited to see who I meet next and where that will take me. I’m married (Ten years, woot!), to an Equity Stage Manager, we have one cat and I just finished a “bucket list” of goals that include getting an MFA in Acting, creating a live album, and starting my own travel business. I’ve learned so much about acting and theatre by teaching, working, serving in my community, and basically being a human that I feel so ready to pursue the next opportunity I’m given. Can’t wait to meet you! I’m already singing, “And here we have Idaho….”
